2x +4 < 18, where x is a natural number

Step 1 : 2x +4 < 18 (Given question)
Step 2 : 2x + 4 - 4 < 18 - 4 (Subtracting 4 from both sides by do and undo method)
Step 3 : 2x < 14 (Divided by 2 on both sides - ie 4 - 4 =0, 18 - 4 =14
Step 4 : 2x/2 < 14/2
Step 5 : x < 7 (ie.,2x/2 =x, 14/2 = 7)
Step 6 : Since the solution belongs to naturals number that are less than 7, the value of the x as 1,2,3,4,5 and 6
Step 7 : Therefore, the solutions are 1,2,3,4,5 and 6
