Find the value of x in the equation x + 5 = 12 by using do and undo method.

Step 1 : x + 5 = 12 (Given Equation)

Step 2 : x + 5 - 5 = 12 - 5 (Subtract 5 on both sides by using do and undo method)

Step 3 : x = 7 (ie., In L.H.S, 5 - 5 = 0, in R.H.S. 12 – 5 = 7), therefore we will get x = 7)

Step 4 : Therefore x = 7 is the answer.
